That boy always sits alone, in the same place, on the same train, everyday. His briefcase is at his feet, and he holds tightly what looks like a violin case.
The train stops at a station and people get on. One of these people jostles the carrying case he is holding. It is pretty big, and sticks out into the aisle. The boy promptly gets to his feet and apologizes, bowing his head, though the person he bumped doesn't appear take much notice. He simply sat down next to the boy.
His stop is approaching, and the boy gets up to get ready to get off the train. As he does so, his carrying case hits the guy sitting next to him, in the face. He quickly apologizes, bowing his head, though that guy doesn’t appear to be terribly concerned. Meanwhile, the train stops. His unnatural stance causes the boy to stumble and bumps into the very man to whom he is already apologizing. He turns a bright red and apologizes even more fiercely. The guy says something to him, which is along the line of, hurry up and go before the doors close. The boy keeps on apologizing, even as he gets off the train. He stops outside and apologizes some more. He continues apologizing even after the doors close.
10 seconds later the boy realises that the train is leaving, together with his briefcase in it.
The next day, the boy sits again at the same spot, hoping that he can find his lost briefcase. The train stops at the same station, and to his surprise, the same guy comes into the train and sits next to him. Reminiscing what happened yesterday, the boy blushes. That guy notices that, but he just keeps quiet.
They arrive at the next station. One more station to go – the boy thinks. He looks at the guy sitting next to him, and when he looks back, the boy quickly shifts his gaze somewhere else.
You left your briefcase yesterday, that guy says, making the boy to turn back his attention towards him. This time the guy manages to block his face from being hit by the big violin case. The boy quickly bows down to apologize, making the case to hit the man’s forehead instead. Seeing that, the boy apologizes more profusely.
That guy let out a small laugh as he watches that boy’s quirky behaviour. Enough with the apology already – he says – I might call you Sorry if you keeps on saying sorry.
But my name is Henry, the boy says as he unconsciously pouts his lips. That guy chuckles again. Okay then, Henry, my name is Kibum, he says as he offers a handshake to the boy that he now knows the name. The boy takes his hand timidly.
The train has arrives at his destination, but the man is still holding his hand. The boy is getting panic. Just then, the man takes a briefcase beside him and gives it to the boy. Here is your briefcase, he says, and then he gives a smile to the boy, making him to bump into a girl who is standing behind her as he is trying to get up. He apologizes to the girl again and again as he walks out of the train.
The man who is watching shakes his head softly. This Henry boy is so funny, he thinks, as he throws a last look through the windows of now moving train.
