Eeteuk stumbled as he tried to catch up his pace. “Hey…” Eeteuk tried to speak. “You’re hurting me..” The other halted and let go of Eeteuk’s wrist. “Where are you taking me?” Eeteuk asked as he looked at his bruised wrist.
“Why didn’t you do anything? You should at least scream to get other’s attention. A girl should know how to defend herself from sexual harassment. Haven’t anyone teach you that?” that man said.
Eeteuk was sure he heard that right. “Mwuh?”
(An hour before)
Eeteuk ran to the subway as he tried to catch the last train. Thankfully, he arrived at the right time. He thanked the God as he got on the train. He looked around him to find a place to sit, but it seems like everybody were catching on the last train too. In the end, he just decided to stand aside and held on the holder.
The train stopped at the next station. Eeteuk looked at the train route map. 7 station to go, he said to himself. As the door started to close, Eeteuk felt someone’s presence behind him, and he sure that person smelled reeks of alcohol.
Eeteuk gripped on the holder as the train started to move to prevent him from falling. Suddenly, he felt someone’s hand on his hand. He ignored it at first. But after 30 seconds, that hand started to squeeze his ass and kept doing that for the next 2 minutes (Eeteuk felt like eternity). Eeteuk bit his lips from screaming, he just didn’t want to create any public nuisance at that hour.
“Get your f***ing hand off!” Eeteuk heard someone yelled behind him, followed by the sound of something bumping against the train’s wall. Before he could even register the situation in his head, he was dragged out off the train by someone he didn’t even know!
And now, that person even mistook him as a girl…
“You think I am a girl?” That’s just unbelievable for him. “Anyone with eyes can see that.” That guy snickered. “Well maybe if you look down a little, you could see I have nothing protruding out of my sternum.” That guy looked a bit lost. Eeteuk grabbed that guy’s hands and placed them on his flat chest. “See? Nothing right?”
Eeteuk rolled his eyes as that guy just stood there, his hands still on his chest, mouth slightly agaped. “Oh, now you’re the one groping me. Why don’t you punch yourself on your face?” Eeteuk swatted that guy’s hand from his chest and started to walk away. “This is unbelievable…” Eeteuk muttered under his breath.
“Wait!” That guy grabbed his hand. Gosh, he’s strong! “I’ll walk you home. It’s not safe for you to walk alone at this hour.” Eeteuk felt vexed. Who did he thought he was? Superman? "Look. I-" “At least you should let me redeem my mistake for making you missed your train.” Eeteuk could feel some hint of guilt in his tone. Being a soft-hearted person as he was, Eeteuk accepted the favor, “O-okay.” Eeteuk lead the way as the guy following him from behind.
Eeteuk spotted a coffee kiosk. “Do you want to have some coffee?” Before that guy could even answer, Eeteuk was already in front of the machine. Eeteuk was about to put a coin into the coin slot when the other guy said, “I’ll buy it for you.” So he took back his coin. “Which one do you want?” That guy asked Eeteuk. “That one.” Eeteuk pointed on the cappuccino icon. That guy chose mocha for himself.
“Here you go.” That guy handed the cappuccino to Eeteuk. “Thanks.” Eeteuk took the cup from his hand. As he did that, his hand touched the other's, making the latter blushed. That guy tried to hide his blush by gulping down the hot mocha. Eeteuk tried to warn him, “Becareful! It’s-“ That guy spilled back the mocha. “-hot.” Eeteuk tried to contain his laughter, but he found that it was just too funny. Eventually, he burst out his high-pitched laugh. The other guy pouted, making Eeteuk laughed harder. Slowly, that man started to join in the laughter too.
As their laughter died down, Eeteuk noticed a drop of water fell down from the sky into his cup of coffee. “Oh, I think it’s about to rain.” Surely enough, it started to drizzle. “Oddohke? I forgot to bring my umbrella.” Eeteuk whined.
Eeteuk was about to whine more when the other guy took off his jacket and put it over Eeteuk’s head. “I hope this is enough to keep you dry.” Eeteuk wanted to receive the offer, but when he realized he was the only one getting covered, he refused. “Then what about you? Andwe, what if you get sick then? You know how important it is to take care of your own health?” Leeteuk continued to lecture. Halfly amused, that guy took the jacket and now covered both their heads, “Happy now?” Leeteuk was about to answer back when that guy said, “Come on, it’s getting heavier. We need to get you home fast.” That guy spontaneously held on Eeteuk’s waist as they both ran in the rain.
They reached Eeteuk’s place after about 5 minutes running in the rain. Leeteuk was about to grab the keys when he realized how close they were. As if he was struck by lightning, automatically that guy removed his arm from Eeteuk’s waist. They both fell silent for a while. “Do you want to.. Emm.. Come inside?” Eeteuk asked nervously.
That guy looked kinda surprised, but then he answered with a smile, “I would love to, but I’m afraid it’s getting late.” Leeteuk felt slightly disappointed, but he understood anyway. “Okay then. Emm… Thanks for sending me home. Oh, let me get something for you.” Leeteuk disappeared behind the door when he came back with a transparent umbrella in his hand. “I let you borrow my umbrella.” That guy blushed slightly as he took the umbrella. “Thank you. I should get going then.”
Eeteuk went back into his house when he remembered that the jacket was still on him. He opened the door again only to find that he already left. ‘What a pity… I don’t even know his name..’ Eeteuk said to himself as he closed the door for the last time for that day.
(A week after)
It was raining for the second time for that week. Eeteuk was about to attend to his workplace before he realized his one and only umbrella wasn’t at its usual place.
“Looking for this?” Eeteuk heard that voice again. It turned out to be that very person whom now standing in front of him, holding his umbrella. “Mind if I walk you to work?” Eeteuk blushed as he accepted the offer.
“You know, I don’t even know your name.”
“Cause you didn’t ask.”
“What’s your name?”
That guy smiled, his eyes were smiling, too. “I’m Kim Youngwoon. But you can call me Kangin..”
A/N: It’s obvious that it’s Kangin all along.. ^____^;;
